Indian Coast Guard invites applications for various branches as an Assistant Commandant (Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer).
Indian Coast Guard Branch:
1. General Duty
2. Indian Coast Guard General Duty(SSA)
Age: Born between 01.07.1994 to 30.06.1998.
3. Indian Coast Guard Commercial Pilot Entry (CPL) (SSA)
Age: Born between 01.07.1994 to 30.06.2000.
4. Indian Coast Guard Law
Age: Born between 01.07.1989 to 30.06.1998.
Indian Coast Guard Qualification:
10+2(Intermediate), BE/ B.Tech, valid Commercial Pilot Licence, Degree in Law with Medical Standards.
Selection Procedure: Stage –I, Stage -II Tests, Medical examination, Documents verification.
Date of Online application: 18.11.2018 to 30.11.2018.
(i) The upper age limit of OBC/SC & ST is relaxable as per Govt. of India rules in vogue.
(ii) Maximum 5% relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate for SC/ST candidates, NCC ‘C’ (A grade) holders, Sports person of National level (Inter State & above) and wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service.
(iii) Coast Guard reserves the right to fix the cut off percentage for issue of PSB call up letters.
(iv) Candidates who have not completed their Law Degree (i.e. appearing candidates) need not apply, their application will not be accepted.

3. Additional Eligibility Criteria:
(a) Candidates withdrawn on disciplinary grounds from any other service training academy are not eligible to appear.
(b) Candidates should not have been arrested, convicted or prosecuted on criminal charges.
(c) Only candidates cleared their final year/ final semester exams and completed their degrees are to apply.
4. How to Apply.
(a) Applications will be accepted only ‘Online’ from 18 Nov 2018 to 30 Nov 2018 upto 1700 hrsfor the above said posts. The important instructions for filling up of the online applications are as given below: –
(i) The name of the candidate, father/mother’s name and date ofbirth should be same as mentioned in the Xth class passing certificate. Any mismatch in name & date of birth in the application,is liable for rejection.
(ii) Indicate exact percentage of XIIth and Graduation marks upto two decimals and this is not to be rounded off.
(iii) Candidates to choose any one venue for PSB out of the options displayed.
(iv) Filling up of information like personal email ID and Mobile number of the candidate is compulsory. The date, time and venue of the test and other information will be informed through personal email ID/ CG Recruitment website.
(v) In case of SC/ST/OBC category applicants, either current or permanent address of online application/ E-Admit card should be same as the address mentioned in caste/category certificate (SC, ST & OBC).
(vi) In case of OBC non-creamy layer (NCL), the category certificate should not be more than 3 financial years old and for such cases renewed/fresh certificate to be produced.
